Faith 101: Warnings and Instructions

"But you, my friends,
keep on building yourselves up on your most sacred faith.
Pray in the power of the Holy Spirit, and keep yourselves in the love of God,
as you wait for our Lord Jesus Christ in His mercy to give you eternal life."
keep on building yourselves up on your most sacred faith.
Pray in the power of the Holy Spirit, and keep yourselves in the love of God,
as you wait for our Lord Jesus Christ in His mercy to give you eternal life."
-(Jude 1:20-21 TEV)-
We really don't know when is the end of everything; what will happen to us and our loved ones including our enemies or what will eternity be like. No one really knows.
But as we all wait for uncertainty to come or happen, we have sure options that will divert our attentions away from anxiety and negative thoughts:
1. KEEP OUR FAITH:
The faith that we believe in will help us do good at all times and it is a sure ticket that will win our spot in eternal life. Keeping our faith will also dispel all negativity we feel and fears that consume our hearts and minds.
2. PRAY IN THE POWER OF THE HOLY SPIRIT:
Prayer is the fuel of our faith. It continuously strengthens our faith by making us attached to an invisible string that connects us to God through Jesus Christ. Our prayers help us communicate everything to God- our sins, the doubt and fear we have inside, and our hopes and desires. And as we communicate with God, it gives as an assurance of a strong relationship that makes us confident and brave to face each day.
3. KEEP OURSELVES IN THE LOVE OF GOD:
The greatest commandment says love God above everything. If we give our best love to God, we will also learn how to love others and love and take care of ourselves. The greatest love of God was proven by sending us His only Son to redeem us from sin. The greatest love of Jesus Christ was shown when He humbly accepted the insults of others and willingly sacrificed His life for us. So we have to stay in the atmosphere of God's love and stay motivated to love Him as well. There is nothing that can give us everything we need in this life than the love of God.
So starting today, never fear this current life and the eternal life that will come. KEEP OUR FAITH AND LOVE TO GOD as fueled by our constant prayers to Him.
