Faith 101: The Call

"Listen then if you have ears!
Whoever is meant to be captured will surely be captured;
whoever is meant to be killed by the sword will surely be killed by the sword.
This calls for endurance and faith on the part of God's people."
-(Revelations 13:9-10 TEV)-
Many people predict that sooner or later will be doomsday. But no one really knows... No one even knows what will happen to each and everyone of us. The generic knowledge that those who are good belongs to heaven and the bad guys go deep down the hell is already overused.
Only God knows... As His words say: "Whoever is meant to be captured will surely be captured; whoever is meant to be killed by the sword will surely be killed by the sword." He already knows what He will do to those who obeys Him and those who don't... But while we live life clueless and waiting for uncertainty, we have to nurture two things: our ENDURANCE and FAITH.
At all times, we should be patient and enduring. Let us endure everything that happens in our life especially those which are negative in nature because in them stems greater character. Let us not stop doing what is good for us and the others even if at some point we don't get what we expect because God has a sure reward for us. Regardless of any circumstances, we have to be alert, patient and enduring. I remember the tag in one of my statement shirts: "Don't pray for an easy life, pray for an endurance to pass a hard one."
No one and nothing else can ever inspire and motivate us to be a good or "godly" person but our faith to God through Jesus Christ. Our faith is the only string that connects us to God. Our faith is the only driving force that encourages us to live according to God's will and purpose.
So in everyday of our life, we have to LISTEN only to what The Lord wants us to do and never get tired holding on to our faith. Only then that we can live without any anxieties and when God's time comes we will never be in fear and regret.
