My Solace

In my deepest slumber

You cheered me up;

When I'm down and doomed

You picked me up.


In my sleepless nights

You wrapped me around Your comfort;

When all my friends and

all that I love deserted me

You stayed by my side.


When I'm consumed and broken

You showered me with blessings;

When everything failed and

I still chase them

You gave me hope and

held my world.


In the midst of darkness, hunger and thirst

You provided me light and strength;

When I'm lost and isolated

You found me and lead me the way.


"Thank You Lord...

You are my solace..."
