Love songs play out of melody
Pictures faded like the dark night
Shaky faith toppled
Vendetta. Trust devoured by doubt.

Broken promises and shattered vows
I curse the day I bid goodbye
Sun-dry pen; no more poems to write
Abstinence. Eaten up by guilty fantasies.

Savor my sour kisses
My hugs as cold as my tears
I wasted your precious time
Fly! Leave this sinful ground.

Like the flickering half-light
You’re dancing out of sight.
Falling. Reach out for my hand
I’m lost in this barren land.

Adieu my angel...
I’m entering the gates of hell
I can’t keep you for life
‘cause I don’t know the meaning of love.
