Love Your Demon

Love your demon
‘cause when he learns to fly,
he will become an angel on the moon.
Chain and hate him and
he will become
like a monstrous wolf
that never dies.

Endure your nightmare
‘cause when fairies hear your screams,
they will come to your rescue and
sprinkle stardusts on your pillow.
Fear those bad dreams and
they will become
a rigorous midnight struggle.

When daylight comes,
rise up and move forward.
Remember that even Jacob fought
with the angel of God and
left limping to walk.
But he was still favored and blessed
’cause he had a faithful outlook.

Love yourself and all the bad of the earth.
Fight for what you know is right.
Surely, you will get hurt and bruised and
fail at some point.
Success is not measured on beauty, wealth and strength
but on having the faith
that your demon will be an angel indeed.
