The Shot-glass' Curse

Pass that shot-glass on and
crack those silly jokes open.

The night goes deep but
just keep that shot-glass going
round and round and round.

Then one shot and
that glass shed its bitter curse.

Those silly jokes
heated up nonsense arguments.

Then one more shot and
those arguments were tamed but
they became devious whispers.

Then one more shot and
those devious whispers invited
sinful caresses.

Then he drunk that last shot and
he started tasting a pair of bitter-sweet lips.

How he wished he did not take that last shot
because he is now haunted
by that shot-glass' curse.
