Sea Glasses

  These sea glasses are from the bottles that were left behind by the seashore then were tossed and shattered into pieces as the waves play with them and smash them into the rocks. The sea salt weathered their sharp edges and made them dull and gave them unique shapes perfect for crafty creations. We are like these sea glasses. We experienced being left behind and treated useless after the summer bliss. We get shattered into pieces. We don't have a choice but to dive in to the sea of life, still. But as we do, we should let it embrace and mould us; let it refine our edges so we will not hurt others. Yes, we are broken and hurt but that brokenness should not cause pain to others. When somebody picks us up, we will never be like when we were still whole but from the small, shattered pieces, something new will come out. From being disregarded and devalued; tossed back and forth by the waves; broken and shattered and drowned into the sea of life, a new beauty will be born again. Don...

Lockdown Sunset

Yesterday's sunset was so lovely yet saddening. It marked the commencement of second lockdown in this paradise. But it is still undeniably beautiful and promising: The sunset doesn't end there. Darkness comes then sunrise rules. The waves don't get tired either. They just come back and forth. Gently. Roughly. Creating an awesome view and melody. Ahh. Splendid, indeed. Hopefully, when this storm is over, Sunset will signify a new beginning.
