'Til My Last

I love you.

In the morning,
as I open my eyes
and embrace the new life;
as the misty dew
on a dainty flowers' face
is dried up
by the thirsty sun;
as I make bold steps
on a familiar place or
a new highway.

I love you.
Not just today,
but 'til my last day
breathing.

I miss you.

In the middle of the day,
amid the noise and music
of strangers or friends;
either I'm lazy
standing or sitting still
or busy
working for a life
not just for survival.

I miss you.
Not just today,
but 'til my last day
living.

I need you.

At the end of the day,
when I'm rushing and panting
after a tiring endeavor;
as I lazily wear off
the whole day's tension
and reflect
on its lessons;
as I close my eyes
and pray for sweet dreams
while being lulled
by a lovely melody.

I need you.
Not just tonight,
but 'til my last night
dreaming.
